Black & white manual for Megaman X for SNES

Post by Stark »

Just got a box and manual for my Megaman X and it was black & white instead of in color? Is this like a greatest hits thing or something? Anyone know?

I might be a bit off, but I seem to recall something about a company that would make 2nd pressings of SNES games and they would often have cheaper (B/W) manuals.

Yeah, but I don't think the B&W manuals were limited to just the Majesco re-released games.

I looked at the back of the box and it says "Distributed by Majesco, Inc." Must be a repro, eh?

I doubt "repro" is accuate, as I'm pretty sure Majesco released those under license

Right, sorry to misuse the term. Just mean that it is not the original print run, which I think I would lean toward having personally. So...anyone want a manual and box for Mega Man X? :D

lol Majesco = value down the drain. Anyways I never knew Majesco released Snes games. I thought they just did Genesis. I figured some of the Snes games on ebay with a blk/wht manual had to be re-releases.

Never knew about this stuff regarding Majesco actually.

Is that why Mega Man X is so much more common than its sequels?
