But that's because those are the handheld variations. They clearly wanted to take advantage of the power of the GameCube instead of having another top-down adventure. Besides, the reason they're put on the handhelds is the connectivity. The GCN could take advantage of sending Pokemon to the GBA games, so it used that. You can catch those Pokemon and send them to your GBA games and vice versa.
Well looks like they made the wrong decision because it didn't sell very well apparently work people wanted Pokemon on their consoles in 3D but they got side story
It's got one of the best controllers ever, and the PS2 was far and away the least powerful, in terms of both graphics and CPU.

Thanks but I don't think you read what I said. I said
"people thought" that the PS2 was the most powerful I already know it's the least powerful of the three.

That would be a matter of opinion I personally think it's one of the shittest controllers ever.
I don't see anything that it has going for it it's just a PS2 controller with the layout muddled up for no reason with a one of the left buttons missing.
I remember the Gamecube had the potential to beat the PS2 specs wise but no one I know liked the controller and I literally mean no one.
I thought well Nintendo's controllers work well for Nintendo games so it should be okay.
Which it was once you got used to the layout but while the N64 controller had the analog stick they were showing off and the Wiimote has motion sensing.
I see very little point to the Gamecube controller being the way it is.
One plus I would give it would be that it is of course comfortable to hold however that didn't help me much I ended up getting blisters when playing Fight Night Round 2 on it due to the C stick being used as the second analog.
Also who can forget SNK vs Capcom 2 EO try playing that game on the Gamecube
If you like the controller fair play to ya but from my ends am glad that the Classic controller isn't modeled after the Gamecube one

Numbers aren't everything though. The Dreamcast CPU was 200 mhz, and the VR2 in it was something around 100mhz if I remember correctly, and it's home to some extremely pretty games that easily rival the rest of the 6th gen. consoles. Soul Calibur and F355 Challenge for instance.
Very true however we know that the PS2 was less powerful of the three when you compare ports to the Xbox and also ports from the Gamecube.
Examples being Metal Gear Solid 2 and Monkey Ball 1 / 2 and not just through raw numbers.
Also see the Resident Evil 4 port

This is also my concern gameplay is always my first concern doesn't matter what console the game is on
