I usually do that with my game library every time I hook up a different console - play them in alphabetical order.SpaceBooger wrote:I don't know if you guys have seen this or not but, this guy is playing every Nintendo-licensed NES game in alphabetical order.

I'm actually getting ready to break out my N64 again soon. And of course, I've added a handful of new titles since my last playthrough of the console, so I'm excited. It's just one of the ways that I keep my interest and love for gaming fresh.

I attempted it once when I had finally aquired all the USA NES roms. I got to letter L playing through the first few levels. Kudos if he gets through them all.

Damn!! People have some serious time on their hands! I wish I could dedicate my time like that. Work, school, marriage, and other resposibilties take presidence first though so what can you do? Hats off to those that can and good luck!
I am addicted to video games, especially retro gaming from my era. I have: NES, SNES, Nintendo 64, Gamecube, Gameboy, GBA, Wii, Sega Genesis, Sega CD, Dreamcast, PS1, PS2, Xbox, and Xbox 360. I have probably over 1,000 games in total for all these systems combined. Yes, I need help and I wouldn't have it any other way! This is my passion and hey my wife still loves me!!

Re: Playing all every NES game in alphabetical order
Just want to quote this link. I heard about Chrontendo on a recent 1UP podcast and have since watched every episode! That's about 35 hours of sweet, sweet Famicom action. Awesome! You can download by visiting archive.org and searching for 'Chrontendo 1', 'Chrontendo 2', etc. He is perhaps a third of the way through his quest. The next episode will feature SMB3!!!eSPy wrote:this guy has been doing them in chronological order

I think I only made it part way through "B" when I attempted this. It's a great way to boost your knowledge of the system, but there's simply too much crap to keep things interesting.
