I would like to repeat these:

Castlevania: The Adventure ReBirth
Bit. Trip. Any game
Klonoa
NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams

First 2 are WW, second two should be dirt cheap. You will not be dissapointed.

I like the suggestions so far, keep em coming. Feel free to mention any good retail titles too. I know of a couple, but since I've only just recently turned my attention to the Wii in full, there is probably lots of stuff I'm not aware of

Actually now that I think about it, what are the Wii's best light gun games? I know there's a house of the dead game on there

House of the Dead: OverKill is the most fun lightgun game experience I've had in years due to it's loving parody of B-grade grindhouse-type movies. I hear the Resident Evil lightgun games are fun too but have never tried them.

If you love arcade flight games, check out Sky Crawlers (retail) and Pearl Harbor Trilogy (it's not a trilogy though) on WiiWare. They're awesome games.

Has someone mentioned Muramasa: Demon Blade yet? I think it's one of the most beautiful Wii games out there. I also think Metroid: Other M is graphically impressive but I hesitate to recommend it for its gaming experience.

Is it just me or is DKC Returns noticeably more difficult than the original? I'm actually frustrated in some parts and the stages are really low on checkpoints. Feel like I'm playing a Treasure game

I cannot possibly recommend Punch-Out! strongly enough. It's true to the old school Punch-Out! games, and makes perfect use of the motion controls. It was the ideal game to adapt to the Wii platform.

I love the Punch Out series! Thanks for reminding me! I definitely will give the new one a try

That's right, I gotta find out what my code is. I've been having so much fun playing DKC Returns I forgot

Damn that game is tougher than I expected though

You know I am quite surprised by how comfortable I already am with the Wii controls. I starting playing DKC Returns with the remote turned sideways to simulate a control pad. After a while though, I tried the remote and nunchuk configuration out of the curiosity. After some initial awkwardness, I found myself loving it! It's so much easier to use Kong's controller shake moves this way than it is with the control pad setup. I think I am converted.

Love the extra stuff too, like surfing the web on my tv with the Wii without having to hook anything up to a computer. Very nice! And the load screen with Mario collecting coins when I decided to download some game demos. That was very cool!

Gamerforlife I second getting the Klonoa remake, its amazing and dirt cheap now. I would also suggest getting Wario Land: Shake It. I just picked this up for under $20 and its an amazing 2D platformer. Great hand drawn graphics and very catchy music, the controls are a bit gimmicky, but they aren't that bad. Its a little on the short side, but each stage has various missions to do so it ups the replay value. Fun boss battles as well. Check it out, its a very underrated game on the Wii.
