Can I Use Action Replay DSi on Original DS?

Pretty much says it in the title. I'm wondering because Action Replay DSi is available on the Gamestop Rewards and I have enough points to get it very soon.

I believe the DSi version is backwards compatible, yes. Just to make sure though, check the package. It should say something like "Action Replay DSi for use with DSi, DS Lite and DS".

I thought this same thing when I bought mine. The answer is yes, you can use it on your normal DS games. The package indicates this in the corner.

Thanks. The fact that you actually own one instills a bit of confidence in me. Now I have to decide to wait a little bit longer and get the Action Replay for DSi, or spend what I have now in points on a Wii Zapper accessory and a $5 off used games coupon together.
