Honey Bee Game Converter

Post by RBT »

I have found a Honey Bee Game Converter on eBay, The adaptor allows you to play both Japanese and American games on the PAL Sega Mega Drive. Has anybody had any experience with these, how well do they work?

I'd suggest getting a Game Genie instead. It does the trick with freeing region-locks, but you also get to use the cheat system on top of it. A great 2-in-1 deal. And they're cheap.

That's even cheaper and will give you the same end result.

I always assumed you could not play imports without a 50/60Hz switch, I was hoping that's what the converter was doing, I'm a little confused are you saying I can play imports without modding my console ?
