Best place to by import retro games? (FC, SFC, PS1/2, DC)

Post by ThrashOmen »

I haven't looked in many places but I want to get into import games, starting with the Famicom. What's a good site with good prices and quality products? Any importers please let me know!

I'm interested in this as well. Other than here on the forums, I have only bought my imports from eBay.

It seems like ebayers are upping the price of import games because I'm sure the average person thinks that just because its imported its rare. I'm just getting into import games but I'm sure that's not ALWAYS the case.

What do you guys know about japangamestock.com? I see some semi-decent prices on there.

Here's a short little blurb about a number of import shops online. Definetely a couple on there worth checking out. Digitpress is a trustworthy website too I might add.

When it comes to retro games on eBay, Hit-Japan is my favorite seller by far. I've bought from him repeatedly.

Seconded. Hit-Japan is the best. I've been buying from him for years. His prices are fair; he ships quickly; and packages items with care.

Also, Mad Gear LLC (ebay user 16-bit) has lots of rare stuff. Prices are high, but everything I ever got from him was pristine.

100 agreed on both! i've gotten a ton of consoles from hit-japan (and too many games to count), and mad gear is wonderful - you pay the premium for the quality with these guys! really great people to work with all around.
