With the PSP, what games are you ready to play?

I'm not sure. I was trying to kind of make a list of games I'd want... Gradius collection for sure, Space Invaders Extreme, and Lumines. I'm not sure what other shmups are on PSP (locally). Knights In The Nightmare looks up my alley. I'm actually curious now to see the PSP port of Riviera. Probably the FFVII prequel (or was it a sequel?). There was actually this crappy budget title crossword game I used to like too. Also I think Half Minute Hero looks pretty cool.

I also see some good games on the horizon... port of Tactics Ogre and Prinny 2 for instance.

Generally my taste lately is shmups (duh) and RPG's that retain a 16/32-bit quality. But yeah, I'm open to hearing some suggestions, especially from those of you who know me and my interests.

Lumines is a must for PSP, which I thought Sony made a huge mistake by not bundling this game with the launch with the PSP - shows new buyers that this handheld is no o'skool Gameboy!

Crisis Core:FF7 is the prequel to FF7, and focuses on the earlier years of Zack Fair and Sephiroth, gameplay is quite good, thou I really wish for a better camera angle or 2nd analog stick during combat.

Half-Minute Hero is the anti-RPG RPG! You have a time limit to finish a level, and you have enemies that get stronger, buy you can level up! But you don't want to spend too much time leveling up!

Good thing about the PSP, is you can access the PSN, and download playable demos of upcoming games.

I remember playing the hell out of the demos for Space Invaders Extreme and Lumines in 2008, but never got around to buying either. I hear Lumines is actually kind of rare now?

Really? I wouldn't know, I've never thought about buying it.

If you're a fan of the Advance Wars games you should check out Field Commander, it's pretty much exactly the same as Advance Wars but with a 3D engine. Incredibly fun, huge timesink.
