I just beat Castlevania (NES - real hardward) using only one life! I believe this is the second time I've ever done that.

I just want to strike you with a whip. I used so many damn continues on that game and Ninja Gaiden.

First time I played this game, I was horrible at it. When I finally got up to Frankenstein and died miserably, I thought to myself that that's as far as I'll ever get and just to accept it.

YES!!

First time I did this, I literally screamed out-loud "I am a GOD to MEN!!"

5 seconds later, my dad walks into the TV room, sees me in my boxers playing Nintendo, surrounded by soda and Doritos, and says very matter-of-factly "When did my son become such a nerd..??"

I get to go to my favorite store today! Edward McKay used books and more. The only place I get retro games, besides here and goodwill. I'm excited because I havent been since November when I chipped my tooth. Anyway, I hope I can get something awesome.

I'm disappointed. I'm still waiting for a decent Riddler...

Admittedly there were many choices, including some big names, but Nolan needed somebody strong enough to break Batman and smart enough to do it. With the likes of Joker, Two-Face, and Ra's out of the mix, who does that leave who can honestly contend with Batman on a 1 to 1 basis?

Not Clayface, not the Ventriloquist, not Man-bat, not Killer Moth. Killer Croc is simply too dumb to carry a film on his own. Mad Hatter would work as a minor villain or a mention, similar to Zsasz, but not as a main villain. Nolan said he wasn't touching the Riddler, and I honestly can't think of anyone who could top Devito as Penguin. Mr. Freeze and Poison Ivy both leave a bad taste in my mouth after the last movie they appeared in, even though I do like the characters. And guys like Dr. Milo, Calendar Man, and Maxie Zeus aren't popular enough to be recognized.

Black Mask wouldn't have been a bad choice either, but again, Bane is more popular. I'm really not surprised.

I see what you mean about the other villains but they could have used Hugo Strange or the Riddler.

But Nolan said he wouldn't do the Riddler and Hugo Strange is getting a lot of screen time in the game, so DC might have said no (pure speculation on my part, but I could see it happening).

As for Hoskins...you're right, I could see it, but Hoskins' most notable roles were over twenty years ago, and the last time he took a starring role based on an item of popular culture, he ended up getting burned. Badly.

Even if I do have a soft spot for the Mario Bros. movie.
