(I share an equal hate for Sony fanboys its just M$'s are usually much younger, annoying, and say things like that on a more consisgent basis)

I haven't heard as much about fanboyism lately. Maybe since Nintendo handed Microsoft and Sony their ass this generation its less fun for the Xbots and Playstation kids to pick on Nintendo nerds. I play it all, I was once a Sega fanboy and that was just fine!

Well I think it's due to how there isn't any REAL competition among the consoles now. Each console has it's own little niche. Most people are now aware of which features are done best on which console, and they know that arguing otherwise only makes them look stupid.

in fairness I would say that there are a fair few people on this forum (including myself I'll admit) who are loyal till death to the Dreamcast
so i can't honestly complain about fanboys in general, however I will utterly complain about the very idea of being a fanboy for either MS or SONY, they are not art creators, merely agents/publishers hardware manufacturers. Sega and Nintendo create art - whereas the other two just buy it and resell it.
