Re: Wii-Hidden Gems
dont know if its really a hidden gem but I really liked The Munchables
your character basically eats everything! you eat space pirates that suspiciously look like food!
but my explanation does not do it justice, play it!

Re: Wii-Hidden Gems
My favorite overlooked gems? I've included some below that didn't seem to get the mainsteam attention or love I felt they deserve. The best part is that because they didn't sell well I've seen all except one on sale for $10 at one point or another.
BlastWorks - A bit of a "take it or leave it" affair, but the game building tools are flexible and entertaining, the main campaign challenging if you want to unlock everything, and the four bonus games truly enjoyable as well. At least worth trying for any shmup fan.
Cursed Mountain - Feels a bit outdated, but with good atmosphere and a unique story. Another genre game where people interested in survival horror should be sure to check it out.
Dawn of Discovery - Nobody bought it, nobody played it, but this Ubisoft-published game is a gem just waiting to be discovered. The biggest downside is that the campaign is basically an extended tutorial session to get you ready for free play... but even the tutorial stuff is rather enjoyable.
Dokapon Kingdom - Think Mario Party, but with basic RPG elements replacing all the mini-games. Totally unique and very enjoyable with the right crowd, but flew way under the radar.
Baroque/Chocobo's Dungeon/Shiren the Wanderer - Rogue-likes are a niche genre, but are well represented on Wii with three games all worth playing. Which you prefer will depend on what type of experience you wanted... but I was impressed with all of them.
Fragile Dreams - Another game that has superb atmosphere. The gameplay doesn't hold up for the entire game... but it's still worth playing for the beautiful sense of isolation created.
Geometry Wars Galaxies - Every bit as good as the lauded XBLA releases, and with much more content available. Classic controller is a must for me, although some people apparently prefer using the Wii remote pointer for aiming.
Little King's Story - Tremendous style and a great sense of humor. Don't be fooled by the cute appearance because the game has more than a few subversive moments. Should've made use of pointer functionality, but is still a gem of a game that few purchased or played.
Pinball Hall of Fame: The Williams Collection - This game is available on 360 and PS3 also, and doesn't get enough attention on any console. A true gem!
Rabbids Go Home - Another game nobody wanted to play that has great style and humor. Sadly the weak sales appear to have pushed Ubisoft to return to Rabbid mini-game compilations instead.
Red Steel 2 - The first one was disappointed, so nobody bought this one. Too bad, because it's much improved across the board. Last seen sitting in a clearance bin (MotionPlus included) marked down to less than a meal at McDonalds.
Sam & Max Seasons 1 & 2 - Both games can be had cheap, and both offer tremendous value for any old-school gamers that enjoy oddball humor and point-and-click adventures. Don't miss them.
Trauma Team - Brilliant game that improves greatly on the (also under-appreciated) first two in the series. Who knew that cheesy storylines and virtual surgery could be so much fun?!
Zack & Wiki - Not really a point-and-click adventure game, but a puzzler with some tremendous levels late in the game.
Wario Land Shake It! - Made by the same team that did the new Kirby, this is actually the better game even though Kirby wins in the graphics department. It's easy to play, and anyone should be able to push through the basic levels... but getting all the achievements and finding the hidden secrets is much tougher!
Also want to mention a couple of sentimental favorites. Since getting a couple of Tatsunoko vs Capcom fightsticks, you can add these to the list:
- SNK Arcade Classics Vol 1
- Metal Slug Anthology
- Samurai Shodown Anthology
- The King of Fighters Collection: The Orochi Saga
- Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus
- Tatsunoko vs Capcom

Re: Wii-Hidden Gems
It's by no means a bad game but the controls are horrible. This was before that add-on that increased precision and it kind of feels.xan_racketBOY_fan wrote:Elebits for sure XD
I think it's simple a nice game but there are thousands of game I would recommend first.
