dreamcast - how to fix random resetting

my replacement dreamcast recently started randomly resetting and i feared the worst. i looked up all kinds of fixes online. this one, the simplest one, actually works! pretty amazing!

haven't had a random reset since!

I used a more complex method a couple months ago to fix mine. This is very interesting because the part that needs to be fixed might just work like that!

Well duhh, you can fix any electronic by hitting it, its a widely believed fact

The better way is to bend the pins on the PSU properly.

i had hit it before, but not in the spot on the video. but when i did, sure enough it worked again!

The resets can usually by fixed be cleaning the power supply pins, and slightly bending them towards the contact cushions that they lay against on the power supply.
