Get Hotel Dusk: Room 215 and Last Window: The Secret of Cape West.
999 is good I've heard but there has got to be more hype for Cing's games.
And I know of a game that's probably more disturbing than 999 (if in fact is is disturbing) if anyone's interested.
GOT SOME FREE MONEY? BUY 999 NOW!

It's called Theresia. In Japan: Theresia: Dear Emile.
It's kinda Survival Horror meets Point-and-Click Adventures. To be perfectly honest, it looks kinda emo but I'm willing to overlook that and give it a try.
And noise, get it. It's cheap. I think it's like $15 at Gamestop last I checked.

edit: Now that I think about it, the ds needs more of these games. The system is just perfect for this genre.

I thought you were going to say Dementium. I've heard that's a great horror game.
I've also wanted to pick up 999, but I can't do it until I get Elite Beat Agents. Man, it's hard to find that game complete. I may have to ask my friend if I can buy his, which I convinced him to buy in the first place.

The Dementium games are the only DS games I've ever pre-ordered. They are pretty awesome and are what First Person Shooters on the DS should be... at least that's what I think.YoshiEgg25 wrote:I thought you were going to say Dementium. I've heard that's a great horror game.

Sorry... I've been doing nothing but bringing this thread off-topic. I'll post something relevant to 999. Here is the reception according to wikipedia. It looks like it has received great reviews from the major publications.
