I really hope the restriction on the signatures stands. It's a pain to browse on other forums without such restrictions. People post two letter messages and we are treated to a wallpaper in their signature.

No problem anything to help :). Since my main concern is the people who use their phones I will get started sometime this week on scripting the pics so that they are smaller for a phone or iTouch. Ill update you guys with progress aswell.

So, what is the official ruling on the signature restrictions?

Indeed, many forums that lack the quality we have here are full of huge signatures that create a flashing bandwidth hogging nightmare. If you want a page to fill with a ton of flashy crap, stay on Myspace. :P

Yeah lol. But I don't think my signatures will be a problem with loading time. Although they are custom the are not as simple as other I had come across. I know it takes up space but I don't think it is all that much. But I can see the difference big time with people who view this site on their phone.

I don't have a problem with the fact that there's a signature restriction. 70 pixels is a bit archaic though. My gaming habits may be retro, but I'm not using a 56k modem. At the very least, the restrictions should match the size of the XBL banners.

Most of us probably aren't on 56K, but people browsing on phones might be paying for bandwidth.
