Sin and Punishment 3 Coming?

Ok, this might be old news to some. But I finally played "Star Successor" tonight on the Wii, which is freaking awesome, and after I died (lol) I naturally jumped on the puter and Googled "Sin and Punishment 3" and found this little news nugget that I thought I would share.

There's always the possibility that it could be a new 3D action shooter title, but I'm really hoping that it's another Sin and Punishment. Because they really nailed the controls on "Star Successor," imo.

I think that's a bit of a stretch. "3D Action Shooter" covers a pretty wide range of titles, not to mention there's that crazy concept of making something new and not just a sequel (considering Treasure were once very anti-sequel).

Unfortunately Sin and Punishment tanked in Japan and the States.

I would hope they are prepping Project RS-3 or a Silpheed sequel.

It still received critical acclaim though.

Perhaps if they had released it as a budget title for $19.99 it would have done a little better in the US? After all, the average casual gamer has never heard of "Sin and Punishment," or Treasure for that matter.

Dude, seriously.. you NEED to buy one. I was skeptical about the Wii for a long time due to all the shovelware and shit. But I finally bought myself one for Christmas and couldn't be more pleased. Getting the two Wii Sports games in the new bundles is a great deal in itself. But Star Successor is such an awesome game with outstanding controls. It'd be a shame for it to just sit there and collect dust.
