Post by racketboy »

I thought my battery was dying, but I guess I'm not the only one with this issue:

No worries :)

Is yours a Slot 2 cart then? I don't think those have the battery problems....

I wouldnt doubt that being true. (I got Supercard DS one, btw)

I was at my hut this summer and it was shitty weather so nothing to do. Spent alot of time playing DS then, and I did notice the battery went dry on me a bit more often than I would expect NDS to do, since people always mentioned how long battery life it got. But cant say for sure how long it lasted.

I'll try to test in the near future just how long the battery last with Supercard DS one, when fully charged.

My EZFlash 2 Powerstar would shorten my GBASP's lifespan by about 20%. I think most flash carts did this on GBA. Hell, they called it PowerStar because at the time it actually sucked less power from the machine than other flash carts did.

I'm having some serious battery life problems with my MediaMax player... When just playing DS games, I get maybe 8 hours of battery life. When listening to music on the MediaMax, I get 2 hours. When watching movies I get maybe 50 minutes.

try removing the pass key after the game select menu boots. it does save battery life for me. dsl/superkey/cf to gba.
