Well scooter I am lucky in that my older brother is a big NES fan. He stole my Advantage and some of my games when he left to go college. We have talked for years about odd NES stuff, but this was from left field. They tried to get me a Donkey Kong Jr Cocktail table, but the seller was pretty shady, this was the concelaction prize. And since I actually have the space for him it is a welcome addition - the cocktail table was going to get a piece of wood on top of it to make it a real table, an idea I will be using in the future.
ROB works with two games, Gyromite - the setup I have, and Stackup - the other $400 setup with blocks. With Gyromite you control a scientist trying to escape a building. To open doors ROB has to charge up a spinner and put it on the button control - the red and blue buttons at his waist, they go directly down that chute to an NES controller. So yes he is not even necessary for one of his own games, but he is bloody cool looking.
Racket, they said half the going price on ebay, thanks to a buy it now and a fella priced to sell - my guess is about $200. Makes the stuff I got them, Glass Slag, look like crap, though that has family history behind it and I had to convince a stained glass company in New Mexico to sell it to me...
The gamelist if you cant read them:
Duck Hunt
Gyromite - these two came with the initial package
Mario Bros, Top Gun, Golgo 13, 10 Yard Fight, Star Soldier, Pinball, Track and Field II, Monster Party, Milons Secret Castle, Xenophobe, Wrath of the Black Manta, To the Earth, Destination Earth Star, Othello, Abadox, Jordan Vs Bird, Skate or Die, 720, Silent Service, Robocop, The Karate Kid, and Baseball - Ironic since that is what is in my VS Cab
Now I need Dr Mario, Mario 2, Contra, and RC Proam and Ill be set. Granted new controllers wouldnt hurt either. Find the Saturn controllers first then NES.

Sweet present! I recently received a Neo Geo MVS for my birthday. Which was from my awesome Fiancee. She usually gets me retro stuff for my birthday or christmas. She got me a megadrive II and mega CD last year for xmas and birthdays. I guess i'm lucky to have someone who understands my obsession with retro gear. (she also buys me modern games too, and she never buys crap games. I guess my knowledge of all things gaming has rubbed off on her!)
Did ROB ever get released in the UK? I never remember seeing it the first time around.

And today, Good Will blessed me with 10 NES games for $10 - Ducktales, RC Pro-Am, Double Dragon, Bionic Commando, T&C Surf Design, Mikey Mousecapades, Bubble Bobble, Dragon Warrior, Batman, and Ironsword. Ironically, while growing up all of these were some of my favorite games that I never had a chance to own. Except Ironsword which I bought on the principle of it being a dollar and it being a Wizards and Warriors game, it cant be that bad.
This means in less than a week I have obtained forty different NES carts. Puts the new collection at over fifty.

Most awesome and useless accesory!!! This is the exact set i got for X-mas as a kid. We broke ROB unfortunately.
He is kinda wimpy, and he always kills you on Gyromite. You're like, "Come on ROB hurry the fuck up! That stupid little mite is going to hit my guy." And then you die and ROB is still trying to move the blue collums! HAHA. good times.
Nice gift!
