Any Idea what 3DS Will cost?

Has anyone heard what the unit will retail for at launch? Possibly what comes with it. I looked on the nintendo site and it was vauge. I'm sure someone out there has an inside scoop

There have been no formal announcements, but nintendo is scheduled to have a 3ds event in jan. I want to say it is on the 19th?

My guess based on launches over the years is 200-250 for the system bare bones

We're finally taking pre-orders for it at work!

The downside is that since GS hasn't gotten a concrete price for it from Ninty yet they have it set to a tentative $999.99!!!

(Not like my Nintendo whore ass wouldn't buy it anyway........)

It is coming out in Febuary for 300 dollars in Japan. I predict that it will be around $250 at launch in US. I'm planning to get it day 1!

I did today. This is one launch I'm NOT gonna let slip through my fingers.

It won't be any less than $250 at US launch. I'm thinking it will be more, though. Probably $269 or $279. Really wouldn't be surprised if it's $299.
