I received a bunch of Westerns on DVD, as well as some gloves, a hat, and Italian food materials...things like minced garlic and cans of tomato paste. Mom says I should use it for a romantic dinner with my girlfriend.

Anyway, you guys probably don't care about that stuff, you're more interested in the DVDs. I got Pale Rider, The Quick and the Dead (the 1987 film), The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance, and a collection of films, including One-Eyed Jacks, God's Gun, and Angel and the Badman.

Well, apparently there had been some technical difficulties for X-Mas at my place.....

Thanks to some crazed stuff on my end and late gifts I ended up getting a Nikon Coolpix S8100. If there was one point and shoot I've been after, this is it.

It also happens to be my first ever digital camera. Well not really, my last one was a $20 Vivitar I got when I was about 11 way back in 2003 and haven't used it since about then. (But I don't count it)

Cool beans, congrats on the camera! I expect to see collection pictures in the near future.

I also got a couple of presents late. My girlfriend's family gave me a MediaWorks multimedia tower, which is now holding a large chunk of my game collection right next to my computer. I also got a Husky 32-piece ratcheting T-driver set, and it is awesome! I love it!

My wife made me a really nice calendar where every month has a picture of us that was taken during the month of the calendar, usually taken from a holiday from that month.

She also got me this great Dexter mug that changes color when you add a hot beverage to it and reveals blood spatters on the outside.

My parents got us the Ticket To Ride boardgame.

My brother got me a book of Banksy's graffitti artwork.

My inlaws got me a super nice watch and a $100 Amazon gift card.

I also got my wife the complete series of Six Feet Under, the first season of Community, and some tickets to go listen to Spike Lee talk about movie making (these are things she wanted, but are also good for me too).

Oh, and I got myself a few games from GOG and Steam's holiday sales.

Thanks, but you're too late. The lens on the cam inexplicably jammed up and broke on me within the day!

This just makes me want a DSLR even more........
