Lost in Shadow (aka 'A Shadow's Tale') - Wii

Just curious if any of you guys were aware of this really unique-looking, puzzle platformer by Hudson Soft coming out for the Nintendo Wii on Jan. 4?

It's actually been getting quite a few comparisons to Limbo and Ico, which I think is very good.

But anyway, here is a gameplay video that I found with many different levels for you all to enjoy. I think it showcases the game very well:



I, myself, am very excited for this one. Especially since it's only a week away from release. But I'm also curious to hear everyone else's thoughts.

Here's another cool gameplay vid I found. This time showcasing the "gates" that you can pass through which allow you to temporary become "a lighted figure" and explore the level on a 3D plane.

I remember seeing the first previews of this game a while ago. It is definitely unique, but like almost every current gen game, I'll wait til it proves itself.

I got it a while ago (JP got it first) and the first level I played was pretty fun. The controls are tight too. I don't know when I'll have time to get to it in my backlog though.

When I first saw the trailer for this game (not too long ago) I thought it was a very awesome and unique idea. It looks like it could be fun, but it's one of those games where it looks like the gameplay will either be great or poor. Still, the concept is awesome. I'm definitely gonna give it a shot.

Wow. Judging by those videos it looks pretty snazzy and I really love the concept, but I'll have to wait till I can actually get a closer look at it to really form more of an opinion.

FYI, if you didn't know, there is a article on it in the most recent Nintendo Power. It seems to be a promising platformer, I'll probably pick it up once it gets around $30.
