Do not plug a NES power brick into any other system or you will kill it dead. A US SNES power brick will not fit any other US system. See the AC Adapter link in my sig.

RF boxes between the NES/SMS/GEN/TG16 are all functionally the same and interchangeable.

You can try hitting up Radio Shack for a universal RF switch.

I have a generic 2 in 1 power adapter for my nes and genesis. It has two power cords. Came in handy when saving space on the power strip.
