Well, it's not actually for the Game Boy, but I'm sure noiseredux will like it just the same.

It's a game created in the Game Boy style for PC by Dan Fornace.

Controls have been adapted to two buttons and the d-pad. There's just jump and attack now. No more dodging, shielding or grabbing. The graphics emulate the green tint of the original Game Boy. Music kicks ass.

There's a demo coming out on Friday for PC. Here's a video of it in action. It does look good:

Yeah, I have a hard time being impressed or becoming excited about this game, knowing it's being made in Game Maker. I don't really expect them to seriously design the game around the limitations of the gameboy if they aren't making it to run on the hardware.

Woah... Being kind of the Game Boy whore I am.

I'm curious to see what other de-makes exist out there. This idea is just absolutely brilliant. All they need to do now is add Snoop to the character roster:
