Well the OLED touch screen is really nice.
SD support instead of proprietary.
Open source means lots of free games and emulation if you are into it, all the way up to PS1. Pretty big scene for free (legal) open source stuff available also.
NeoGeo, CPS1&2 alone makes it worth price of admission.
PSP can do most of that but the screen isn't as nice, doesn't include touch and the form factor is not nearly as portable. Nevermind the much better video codec support on the Wiz.

REminiscence (Flashback) and OpenBOR work well.
It does basic shockwave flash. You can play through Crimson Room sorta.
It played most of the vids I threw at it well.
If you're into tower defense, you can fill your boots.
