I found Haze all kinds of bad. Many of the ones mentioned above as well.

What system "exclusives" have been the worst? I am not really referring to the shovelware stuff that isn't widely promoted - I mean the games that are highly touted as exclusives by a console manufacturer but just plain suck.
I think some people in this thread have completely missed your point. Superman 64 has NO place in this discussion, as it was never touted as an exclusive. Even Keith Courage was never really highly touted, it could be argued. Yeah, it was a pack-in, but I don't remember it being a game that was really pushed (or maybe it was, if you count store kiosks).
Thanks for trying to keep us on track, Breetai

I like Lair, to be honest.
Lair was actually pretty good, and after they added analog stick and DualShock vibration support in a later update it became one of my favorite titles because it really felt like a next-gen Panzer Dragoon.
My Consoles:
Genesis - Nomad - SegaCD - GameGear - Sega Saturn - Dreamcast - NES - SNES - N64 - Gamecube - Wii - Playstation - PSone & LCD - PS2 - PS3 - Xbox - 3DS

Wow, I thought this game looked bad on Genesis; it looks awful on NES. Is this a legit game, or did pirates port it to Nintendo hardware?

In my defense, Altered beast was touted as an exclusive Sega product. I seem to remember one of Sega's hype commercials claiming, "Only Sega has arcade quality; Only Sega has Altered Beast".

No saturnfan, as much as my nostalgia goggles would like me to agree with you, I can't. I recently played Altered Beast again and found that it's rather lame.
No way, I love Altered Beast.

This issue I have with that is that it should have been implemented from the get go, but I haven't played it, so I can't say either way about it.

I don't know if this really counts, but I found Diddy Kong Racing to be atrocious. It sold remarkably well for the N64 though.

I find DKR to be superior to Mario Kart 64 in many respects, and I'd probably still consider it to be one of my top 25 video games, definitely one of my top 5 N64 games.
Gaming accomplishments:

Donkey Kong: 423,100 [L12-1] (150th place as of 2019-01-15)
Super Smash Bros. (N64): Ranked top 5 in Wisconsin from Q1 2016 to Q2 2017
Shrek SuperSlam: won largest tournament in game's history (Shrekfest 2018)

No one acknowledges their existence. And there's a reason for that.

And the reason for that is exactly why they belong in this conversation.

The controls in Diddy Kong Racing is what killed the game for me. I never felt it had the polish that I felt with Mario Kart 64, especially once you advanced beyond kart racing and into the planes and hovercrafts. While I figure it's obvious from the sales that others didn't have the issue I did, it really did lead me to hate this title.

Eh, personal choice. I actually liked Altered Beasts.
