Might as well make one; Cloverfield Thread.

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

They live their own little lives, own civizliation just like human beings. And during the only time they are vurnerable aka sleeping during the day the monster comes out and steals their blood.

Can I get a spoiler-free statement that says if I should pay money to see it in the theatre?

The movie would NOT be nearly as good if you saw it somewhere else. So I would say that *IF* you decide to go see it, you should see it at the theaters. It is also worth mentioning that this movie isn't one of the best movies ever.... so by not seeing it, you shouldn't feel bad. How's that for sentence structure.

I thought it was pretty cool though, overall, so I would recommend it. Some people (IMO) are reading to far into the validity of the plot. Sometimes it's fun to just sit back and enjoy a flick for what it is.

Duct hates me for this, but I only pay $4 to see movies as long as it's before 6pm. Theaters aren't doing so well in Kansas, so I'm taking advantage of the crazy low ticket prices lately. Considering that price, it was totally worth it. And it should not be seen at home unless you have a great setup. Again there isn't much story here. What the movie does offer in spades, is probably not what your home setup will accept.

Spoiler-free for Racketboy:

I totally dug it. See it on a big screen if you can, even though the shaky-can can be sick-inducing at time. It's an intense, intense movie--intellectually it's probably not terribly good, but it's certainly viscerally entertaining if one can stop being a postmodern I'm-too-cool-to-like-anything douchebag for an hour and a half to just sit back and enjoy it.

I enjoyed this movie as well. Its really fun and its short like it should be. See it in the theatre for the sound alone. It won't change your world but its fun!
