It cant be like a GC stick, I was under the impression first party controllers had the use the same style mechanism, thus the reason all joystick mods for the system are on 3rd party controllers.
EDIT: Ziggy587 beat me to this point.

Is that site safe to order from? Or am I better off ordering from some where else? PayPal preferred. I'll order one right now.

I used Collectors Cards and Games for mine. It looks identical to the linked above. They're a little cheaper and he only charges actual shipping cost. The downside is that you have to order by email (pay with paypal to be safe). Also, he has extension cables for just about every console for cheaper than I see them anywhere else.

Beats opening up the joystick box and readjusting the springs yourself!

I concur. I've used them before and had no problems. Weren't the speediest, but everything was done right; packed, quality just like he said, decent prices, etc. Definitely a good place.optmusprimenumber wrote:i can definitely say good things about collectors cards and games... solid operation

Cool, thanks. If you guys say they're good to order from, then that's good enough for me! I'll place an order soon.

I am very interested in your opinion of them Ziggy.
Re: WHAA?! N64 Joystick Replacement (Like Gamecube Stick)??
Hmm, I'm looking at Collector Cards and Games and all it says is "Joystick replacement part for controller - matching replacement for the joystick on your N64 brand controller" and no picture. How am I suppose to know if this is the Gamecube-like stick or just a typical refurbished joystick that was pulled from a 1rst party controller?
I would just order it from Nintendo Repair Shop Inc. but they don't accept PayPal. They take credit cards through their site, but I don't like doing that. I could pay with a money order, but it will take longer. Are they a legit site? Any one order from there before?
