My biggest problem with Brokencyde and the like is whoever is exploiting them. Sure, teens are going to be drawn to music glamorizing drinking, drugs, money, and sex, but filtering it thru some actual talent can result in listenable music. To me, Brokencyde and the like is the musical equivalent of randomly throwing paint at a wall and calling it art. Theres no challenge in selling booze and whoring to teenagers, whoever is behind these groups are taking advantage of that, and that shallowness is reflected in the product.

Getting fucked up and banging bitches IS fun, but it's irresponsible to shove a canned image down kid's throats at a time when developing your own unique personality is so crucial. And if you and your buddies want to make obnoxious screamy raps about it, great. But when it's crudely commercialized like this, it loses all legitimacy.

That maybe be true, but the Dead Kennedy's and Minor Threat were formed in response to the popular culture while Brokencyde seems to be just taking advantage of what everyone already likes and making it even more ridiculous.

Either way, they can make whatever music for as long as they want. Doesn't effect me because I wont be buying any of their records ever. In order for there to be good bands, there must be terrible bands.

Part 6 was pretty interesting. It managed to make me dislike Limp Dipshits more than I already did. I really don't miss the last 15 years of radio. I'll have to watch the rest of that Frontline tonight or during lunch.

I kinda respect these guys. I mean they really suck allot, but they have managed to create a fanbase that could rival deadheads. The only differnece is, the Grateful Dead had a helluva lot of talent. ICP are great salesmen because they have made a fortune without having any real talent. Every "Juggalo" I have ever met has been an asshole.

This music video is a true miracle. No really thought, anybody who thinks a band that makes videos like this hardcore is delusional.

Do not compare these idiots to Dead Heads. I have family members who are Dead Heads and they've told me stories. My dad said that one time there was a concert they had in a Chicago suburb. When they were passing by the arena, there were cars double-parked on the interstate. Fans weren't able to get a place to park so they just got out of their cars and jumped over the guard railings to get to the arena.

Plus the Dead are actually good. Psh to anyone who thinks these guys are even a fraction of decent.

I know they are nothing alike. I love the dead and have pretty much an entire 1TB hard drive devoted to Dead bootlegs. I'm just saying it's the only other group who has inspired such a loyal following. I only wish that i had been alive when Jerry was still here. What i wouldn't give to see a dead concert circa 78-80.

The only time i've been entertained by ICP is when Mike Awesome (RIP) beat 'em up and threw one off a bus.

Wait a second you're saying that this POS group has a similar following to one of the greatest rock bands in history.. I'm sorry but I don't follow, the ICP comparison was much more appropriate... Comparing this trash to Dead Heads is apples to oranges.. It's almost like comparing fans of Game.com to fans of PS2 it just doesn't compute..

I actually have a friend who's into ICP. He's actually not at all like most "juggalos" I've met.

I'm saying that these are the only two groups with a fanbase this rabid and loyal. Not many bands inspire such fanbases and the only other group I can pull from memory that established a following so loyal is the dead.
