It's very cool and for that price, I'd buy one but if they are the PAL versions, fuck that. Sonic games run at like 5/6 speed for the PAL version.
Is there a Japanese or American version that actually works properly?

Look at this one. It has an SD card slot for loading additional games. Does it play roms? That would be pretty cool. I tried to find more info on this but I couldn't.

Here is a portable one that supports SD cards. Does anyone have this thing? Does it really play roms from SD cards?

If you are looking for a portable system that can use roms a Dingoo might be interesting.
I personally have a Dingoo A320, it plays nes, snes, master system, game boy, game gear, megadrive and more. It has great battery life and you can even hook it up to your tv.
Here's a video of some genesis/megadrive games:

Thanks for the cheaper links. Just bought the Sonic one from buy.com, will be perfect for the car as the wife and I travel often (great for backseat gaming).Anapan wrote:That's cool!
Available on Ebay right now!
I'd be really easy to mod it into a gameboy case or something, tho I love the arcade stick.
Wonder if the multirom is stored on a separate chip from the rest of it...

Cheaper other places:

I'd be stupid not to buy it.

Found this video on YouTube ... the music is all kinds of f
k! Dammit, that's $17 I wasted
I guess it could make for a nice display piece.

He says it's the PAL version so it runs slower than the NTSC version. Don't lose all hope just yet.xan_racketBOY_fan wrote:Found this video on YouTube ... the music is all kinds of fk! Dammit, that's $17 I wasted

Ugh. The sound is off in this video too. Also, the person playing has apparently never played Sonic before. I know there is no spin dash in Sonic 1, but he should know you can't jump through the loop-de-loop.
