Anyone have or remember GXTV?
I remember back a few years ago, seeing this gaming TV in my regular game store down near City Hall in NYC, it was a great off the beaten chart game store, with a good import section and plenty of Saturn games (it was on the block behind J&R Music World) for those familiar with NYC.
Anyway, I was wondering if anyone actually owned one of these TV's with the fold out speakers and what they think of it. despite it being a very small screen size, I always thought it looked cool.

I think I've seen one in person twice. It's cool that you can fold it up and 'put it away'. I know it would start to get ridiculous if it were bigger, but 13/14 inches is kinda small unless it is in a kids room or in a motor home. Though the fact it is small and closes up to protect the screen would be pretty cool in a motor home.

I saw that thread too when looking for pictures to make sure it was the TV I thought it was. I didn't link it though as the guy is long banned and had a rather NSFW avatar.CRTGAMER wrote:Wild. Found an old sale link and a pic.

Woop didn't see your pics after reading the OP and Hobie 's response. I guess your post popped in while I was composing mine and adding the google image reduced pic attachment. Didn't see any harm, sale was dead from 2006 and had the ban. The TV kept me from noticing the Avatar, deleted the old sale link.sevin0seven wrote:that's why i only posted those 3 pics from that forum..Hobie-wan wrote:I saw that thread too when looking for pictures to make sure it was the TV I thought it was. Monitor out I see.

I saw one at best buy way back in the 90's, but didn't like it all. I think it was also pricey tv.

I used to really want one of those when they were behind the display case with the consoles at Toys R Us when I was younger. I guess it was a decent TV at the time and the thought of having a personal gaming TV really appealed to me. 13"? What was I thinking?
