This would actually be really rad. Too bad I only have a netbook and minecraft lags to the point of the game being unplayable on multiplayer :(.

On a related note, I got about 11 diamond today, 70 minutes after starting my new world! I have about 29 gold, too! I'm pretty happy :P

I must have watched that video 10 times over by now. It's still just as funny as the first time that I watched it.

so now I have enough diamond for a few picks, and I finished my Cube, I'm debating on two different projects. 1) Setting up a Hellgate, or 2) recreating the Dueling Arena from Revolutionary Girl Utena. However, I'm not sure how to do the staircase and not make it look like crap.

For the staircases, don't use the regular stairs, they are kind of....off.

Use the large stair recipe and make them at least one to two squares wide. Most buildings and structures will be defined by how the stairs will work in your layout.

After turning on minecraft today, I discovered my computer turned off while saving one time, thus deleting one of my worlds. There goes all my hard work.

Big news from Notch- he's officially switching Minecraft to the "Beta" phase on the 20th. When he does so, the price will increase as he said it will. Also, people who buy in beta may have to buy again for the final product. So if you have been on the fence for buying Minecraft, DO IT NOW
