Worst Condition Consoles You've Ever Picked Up...

The dirtiest console I got was an X'Eye I bought off of eBay. It reeked of cigarettes, and even had what I think was tobacco residue all over it (eww), and grime all over the d-pads. It took about an hour or two of wiping it all down with antibacterial wipes to get it all off and have it smelling nice.

The seller definitely DID NOT mention how dirty it was in the description, and the pictures didn't divulge much. I thought about letting the seller know, but then changed my mind and decided not to bother anymore.

Got a GameCube with no cables on eBay for $7. It was advertised as "Five GCNs: three working, two not" and I figured, well, if it doesn't work, I can always turn it into a lunch box.

It works! But it's in pretty bad condition. It didn't help that they packaged it in shredded newspapers. There's also dust in the ports and the fans. And there appears to be a piece of newspaper stuck in Memory Card Slot-A. Also, the open button is a bit tough to work with.

This thing is getting a thorough cleaning this week.

The top is more scratched up than it looks.


You can't tell from the pic, but the front is pretty yellow.


You can see the grime on the bottom edge.

Now that there's a new generation of consoles coming out, have any of you guys bought any really nasty looking 360's, Wii's or ps3's?

Its gonna happen soon. A neglected old console sitting in the basement or garage.
