Pistons needs to rebuild.
Hopefully if/when Illitch buys the team they rebuild the right way... The mixture of veterans and young players are just not meshing and it's a disaster..

i agree. something is not right with the mix. either take out the old, or rebuild the young. IMO they should had not sign Ben Wallace back. they also need to trade Prince if their not going to build around him. Ben Gordon needs to step up more. and is Rip still wearing that mask? :P when they traded Chauncy Billups, they traded the whole chemistry of the team. that was my favorite Pistons team. :)

Ben Wallace has been the one decent veteran on the team, although he shouldn't be starting either.. Having Prince traded is still very possible since he's an expiring contract, but I doubt anyone touches RIP with a 10 foot pole... Thanks to dumbass Kuester, he tends to play Gordon in limited minutes even though he has the second biggest contract on the team to RIP.. I agree trading Chauncey Billups really disrupted the team, but to sign RIP to an extension at the same time was completely asinine..

I'm still questioning why Detroit gave Ben Gordon a five-year $55 million dollar deal and Charlie Villanueva a five-year $35 million dollar deal. Those players are good, but not worth that much money. When I first heard about those two signing I was like, damn that must be some good shit Joe Dumars be smoking  .

I'm a really big fan of Rodney Stuckey' game though. The dude can play.

Well better to sign them last year than this year... Amir Johnson and Darko Milicic both got 20 million dollar contracts+ HAHAHAHHAHAHAH!!! But yeah I agree, signing CV was a joke, although I liked the signing of Ben Gordon as long as they were willing to ship out RIP, Prince in return which would have actually MADE sense... I like Stuckey as well, but he cannot play PG to save his life... He seems to be more of a tweener being that he doesn't have the outside jumpshot to play SG yet.. I think in time he could develop into a good SG however... Ben Gordon is the best player on the team ATM, which is pretty sad...

Part of it is that Detroit will never be a free agent destination, so you have to get creative and sometimes over pay. I think Joe was trying to get a couple of guys on the cusp of being really good, just like he did when he signed Chauncey as a free agent. At the time that wasn't a sure thing. Well, it worked with Chauncey and didn't with Charlie. I don't mind the Gordon deal except for the fact you have a log jam at SG already(Stuckey's natural position).

Big win for the Bulls. Bulls really capitalized on the Warrior's turnovers. Nice to see all the Bulls starters in double digits.

Rose: 22 pts + 13 Ast
Deng: 26 pts + 11 Reb
Noah: 17 pts + 7 Reb
Gibson: 14 pts + 7 Reb
Bogans: 14 pts

Way to get the job done Bulls
