Unfortunately, I know they don't. There's a full list of released NES games for each region on Nintendolife, thats probably your best place to check.

100 games completed this year! I AM THE ULTIMATE NERD!

First 81 games
Super Quick Hook - iPhone
Monster Mayhem - iPhone
Metroid: Other M - Wii
Dead Space: Extraction - Wii
Plants vs. Zombies - iPhone
King of the Monsters 2: The Next Thing - Arcade
Deathsmiles - 360
House of the Dead 2 & 3 Return (HotD 2) - Wii
House of the Dead 2 & 3 Return (HotD 3) - Wii
House of the Dead: Overkill - Wii
Sonic 4: Episode 1 - iPhone
Angry Birds Halloween - iPhone
Bit. Trip Beat - iPhone
Cut the Rope - iPhone
Super Meat Boy - XBLA
Castlevania: Lords of Shadow - 360
Shank - XBLA *new*
Halo: Reach - 360 *new*
Baseball Superstars 2010 - iPhone *new*
TOTAL: 100

Shank was awesome! I had so much fun with this game. It's completely over-the-top bloody, and the dialogue is so cheesy. Hopefully I can find someone to play through the multiplayer campaign with me soon.

Halo: Reach was more of the same from Bungie, but that's not to say its bad at all. I really enjoyed the different scenarios that you have to battle through, and the story kept me hooked.

I put a ton of hours into Baseball Superstars 2010. I've been playing it on and off since I got my iPhone and I finally got through the "My League" mode. I made it to the 13th season before I was forced into retirement, and just in time for the release of Baseball Superstars 2011! If you enjoyed Baseball Stars on the Neo Geo, then you will LOVE Baseball Superstars 2010!

Congrats JFE! At this rate you should be able to make it to 120 easily :)

At one point I thought I might make 100 but I am probably going to have to settle for coming close and (hopefully) beating one game for each system I own before the year's out. The last two weeks of December will be the magical time for me to cram in what I can before January 1.

I will be away for the end of the year and will only have my DS and GBC, I am hoping to hit 75, but I am not sure if I can get there, but getting over 50 has been good.

This thread has motivated me to finish heaps of games this year.

1. Peggle Deluxe (PC)
2. Phantasmagoria (PC)
3. Ninja Gaiden (again, NES)
4. Contra (again, NES)
5. Nelson Tethers: Puzzle Agent (PC)
6. Half Life 2: Episode 2 (PC)
7. Half Life 2: Lost Coast (PC)
8. Gitaroo Man (PS2)
9. Left 4 Dead 2 (PC)
10. Call of Duty 4 (PC)
11. Shatter (PC)
12. Amnesia: The Dark Descent (PC)
13. Phantasmagoria 2: A Puzzle of Flesh

I had a lot of fun with Phantasmagoria 2. It has nothing to do with the first one at all, but it has a fun and twisted story of its own. It's much kinkier than your average game as your character dabbles in S&M and there are several sex scenes throughout the game. Usually these FMV things are just cheesy horror, but this one is like cheesy horror plus Cinemax late at night. It gets pretty silly by the end and some of the puzzles are damn near impossible without using a walkthrough, but all and all it was a fun game.

Super Mario RPG VC *NEW*

Art Style Aquite is probably one of the weaker art style games. Visually its great, the sound is fantastic and the gameplay is actually pretty damn fun. Where it falls down though is difficulty - it's beyond insane. A black fog descends over the screen over time, blocking your view. when it covers the entire screen, you die. To hold it back, you have to combo by repeatedly matching blocks in one or two moves since your last match, or by waiting for 3 glowing blocks to spawn (which takes a long time)and matching them to clear the screen. However, on the later levels I was dying despite reaching combos of 60 plus! It wasn't even that i was going too slow - i ended up using extensive pausing to plan ahead, and still ended up losing fairly often. Its great fun, but probably a game thats better to just play on the easier early levels.

I'm gonna come right out and say it - Mario RPG is a frankly boring, repetitive, overrated and completely average RPG in basically every way. Your characters have basically no personality, even for RPGs of the era, the story is dull and uninteresting, the supposed humour is few and far between, the 'innovative' battle system comes down to using attack over and over while you heal with peach. Now that sounds like a lot of RPGs, but theres a major exception here - each of your characters only gets about spells (most of which they wont have until quite late),which use flower points from a stock shared by all characters. Now, mario levelled to level 18 and learnt Ultra flame - using 18 of my 60 FP, it dealt 180 damage. A normal, free attack with mario caused 230. Why would I ever use it? Sure one or two enemies are weak to some spells, but the extra damage still only puts it about even to just using attack -which is free! It's not even that you dont NEED to use anything other than attack - it's actually just generally worse to do so! I beat the entire game using the attack command, even the final boss. I think people have the nostalgia goggles hard for this one, because I can't see anything that puts it above the later paper mario or mario & luigi games, nor anything that makes it better than any of its comparable peers of the time. Its not bad per se, just extremely, extremely unremarkably average.

Next beats: maybe metroid prime? Hopefully Wonder Boy 2.
