Nintendo boxes reproduction?

Post by Chris Leach »

Does anyone here print thier own boxes for classic games? I am 100% in to the old new look and would love boxes for all my old games. I want to print them myself and offer them to locals if they like the work and would be interested. I just dont know how to get this done.

Anyone out there have tips on the process of even just getting the paper boxes with the right perforations?

Thanks

I've never done it myself but there are templates out there. Google it and find one you like (someone here may have one I bet), add the artwork, and print it out on a thick enough card stock that your printer can handle.
Print, cut, glue...ta dah!

That is the basic anyway; you can get more detailed/varying quality with it with different materials and such.

A4 is a paper size like letter and legal. It's mostly used in Europe.

Hang on wait, what size paper do you guys use in the states? I thought A4 was the standard office size worldwide.

The only way to deactivate the ray beam and fight back the vampire alien threat is with a complicated series of foot patterns on the device's control board that looks remarkably like a DDR pad. no matter how you slice this, it's going to cost you quite a bit to box all of your games.

You could always try TheCoverProject as an alternative to getting cardboard boxes reproduced... They make print-ready covers for a special type of universal plastic clamshell game case you can order.

(I also still have a few n64 game boxes if you want to PM me about them  )

That is so true once you add up ink and paper costs and that doesn't even include your time. I have a better solution that should save you money and time. I happen to have over 150 NES, SNES, N64, GENESIS, GBA, etc. empty boxes with most priced $2 - 5 each and as you can see they are in great shape too. Click the link below and I hope this helps you out a lot!
