Import Sega Saturn ''Sata Colle'' Versions?

Post by bryan_65 »

I was looking into imports for the Sega Saturn and happened to come across these. It is weird that they come in a red spine with a white border on the front cover. What do you guys know about these?

I've seen it spelled Satakore most often, in fact there's a site called that. Anyway, yeah, they're pretty much the Greatest Hits versions -- they sold for 2,800 Yen. No differences in the gameplay whatsoever, although they're slightly less fun to look at because the artwork is all scrunched up. You'll be able to get them cheaper though, like most any Greatest Hits game. My copies of Bulk Slash and Soukyugurentai Otokuyo are in this packaging.

Slightly related to the OP's first post - I just haggled a copy of Layer Section in a trade without even realizing it was Galactic Attack, another game that I was looking at buying on the 'bay. The pic posted by OP made me realize the artwork was the same.

...phew! That would have been embarrassing.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?
