I had two E30s, both were set up to mimic the E30 M3 (full Koni suspension, Eibach alignment kit, anti-roll kit, Dinan chipped, etc etc) It was one of the best handling cars I've ever owned. I still have one E30 now, but I rarely drive it. I also owned an E36 M3. That one was great, too, but wasn't nearly as nimble as the E30. Unfortunately all of the European cars I have owned were plagued with electrical problems (among other things) and I will probably never buy a European car again. Given the reliability reviews of newer Euro cars, things haven't changed. :(

No doubt about it, a 1932 Ford Roadster:

If I ever make "mike money" (I know a rich guy named mike, what gives?), I'm buying one. Just a magnificent piece of machinery inside and out.

Yeah that is one downfall of Euro cars. Of my parents various cars, Porsche, Volvo, Benz, Audi, BMW and Renault, all had some sort of electrical issues or "lemon" issues (especially the Audi).
But I don't think I'll ever give up driving a Euro car because of those issues. I'll keep the JP car(s) for the reliability and Euro for fun. :)

Why used to own??? Why get rid of such a head turning awesome car??
Perhaps because it was slower than my KIA Cerato (forte) to 100kph and it handled like a pig. However it is funky looking and has plenty of 80's cred, which is about the only reason I can see to have this car. But I will say that when I saw one in a car museum recently I went weak at the knees and went running at it like a fat kid excitedly chasing a samich. Even though it was surrounded by cars that where worth many times more.

The only way to deactivate the ray beam and fight back the vampire alien threat is with a complicated series of foot patterns on the device's control board that looks remarkably like a DDR pad. We will all praise this man for saving our lives and buy him a mountain of stuffed animals.

Shes not a 1970, but damn did Dodge get this one right. Damn, I love my Challenger. Currently clocking in at around 430HP, once the Magnacharger is in, this car is going to screw. Though I'm thinking about putting the supercharger on hold and buying a 1968 Chevelle SS. The prices are right these days with the economy and winter approaching. Image

Dodge finally announced the pricing and details on the 2011s today. Nice big $1500 price increase on the SE, but it's getting 305hp, dual exhaust, 18" wheels, chrome gas cap, new steering wheel and a few other upgrades. Can't wait til I've got enough to buy one.

You might be better off looking for a used R/T. I've seen them go as low as 27k recently. Add the fact that used cars have lots a wiggle room in price and its a no brainer. The differences in the 10 & 11 R/Ts are minimal. That way you get the V8, better modding options and never regret getting a 4000 pound, V6 muscle car like so many have already. I've also read that in 2012 the Challenger will get a significant overhaul so thats something to think about as well. Gotta love a car that has built in beer cup holders in the engine bay!

My out the door ceiling is about 25k (which is honestly pushing it, considering this car debuted at $21,995). I drove the current V6 and was content with that. The 305hp V6 will be the fastest car I've ever owned. It also gets 2-3mpg better than the r/t, lower insurance, and the V6 is about 300 pounds lighter than the V8 models anyway. The only mods I'm interested in is some custom leather seats and the rallye wheels.

Thats cool Jreese, the Challenger is badass in any trim. I was just making a observation with some of the prices I've seen as of late. Good luck with the car when you buy it man. And Luke the 32 Ford is awesome. I hope you find you "Mike" fortune someday.
