My wife is awesome

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Dont expect many replies, because words cannot describe how cool it is. My girlfriend wants a £150 bracelet that looks horrible...

That's above coolness :!:

Is your wife actively into (retro) gaming as well?

I just bought a N64 with some pokemon stadium games and it's the first time I got my gf interested in a retro console because of it. It's probably for nostalgic reasons I think.

My gf is only asking for GC and GBA games - oh and cooking gadgets. I think I approve of this.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

I wouldn't say "actively" but she's coming around.

She had a Coleco and a NES when she was young. But that was it. Over the last year I got her into playing Dr. Mario, Tetris, Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine, etc. Then we beat Turtles In Time co-op.

Over the past year she wanted a DS so I got her one with Dr. Layton, Brain Age, Sudoku. She loves Layton. Then she wanted a Wii, and it turns out she loves light gun games. She's wicked into House Of The Dead now.

Awesome! I had it on my X-mas list last year, but all I got was laughs. I dont think she took me seriously.

Hopefully Epic Mickey comes out this year - its slated for November 30th, but who knows.

My girlfriend recently told me that she wanted to start playing Delta Force again. She was really only into DDR and the occasional spat of a coop game, but Delta Force?

Is that a prequel to Fourchanbara?
