is this controller worth buying?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

is this controller worth buying?

Post by cowgod »

i saw a controller at a local reseller that reminded me of the hori pad for the super famicom. i think it's a controller for the sega saturn, but don't quote me on that.

if anyone recognizes it, what system is it for and is it worth $8?

I don't suppose you know what the end of the cable looks like? :)
If it's for the SNES, I'd get it because I like the button layout, but for the Genesis or Saturn, I'd still with an official.

Just saw that controller in a post about controller storage. I'm pretty sure he said it was $10.00 new and was his prized possession. Sounds like a buy to me!

that was my post asking where the heck that thread was. this is the exact reason i wanted to find the post, because i thought this was the same controller. turns out it is not the same.

i didn't look close enough at the end to see the connector. i'll go back today and inspect it a little further (if nobody else swiped it).

I had a controller kind of like that for the Super Nintendo, with turbo switches for every button on the thing. Too bad it turned out to be busted, because I got it for $2.
