In text form would be too big :D
Well, if you have an old magazine, you could theoretically scan and OCR reviews and then store the text on the database.
Not especially easy, but the option is there.

There are a few Problems.

First:
Do you really have magazines with reviews for all American Releases?

Second:
There are EU and Japanese Releases...
Do you want to translate those, that arent in english?

I'm not suggesting we do them for every game...
If you have them handy, it's just a nice thing to add.
Most of the review system will be based on existing online reviews (like Metacritic does) and then eventually user reviews/ratings

Thanks to those that have been helping!
It's looking good so far.
We've got the bare guts of the database back-end and the web interface done, but I hope to get some things cleaned up before showing some previews...

Once we get the core data in, I will have a review system added that people can upload reviews from magazines and such. That might be a good fit for those.
Well, not only does it have review data, but it has release data. Initial MSRP, release date, publisher, all that jazz. Reviews and codes are present but are secondary content. The primary purpose is to simply record summary metadata on the game.

Lemme throw this out there.... how much of the info is actually useful? (especially the initial MSRP)
I'd hate to waste a bunch of effort entering data that nobody cares about....

Added the VMU data I had lying around. I am not sure if the sports data is accurate - I only have one working memory card and I will be one unhappy camper if I lose my NFL and NBA 2k1 data.

And in looking over the titles it reminded me that I need to start up Record of Lodoss War sometime. Bought it for four dollars a couple years back never played it...Granted I am in the middle of Magic Knight Rayearth.

Thanks -- I think we are about half-way done with most of the non-VMU data.
Currently, I'm trying to fill in the gaps on the imports and games that everyone else seemed to skip over.

There are plenty more "easy" ones out there to fill out that are fine for anybody that has a bit of free time :)
