Best Freeware Games of 07 at TIGForums

I was over at Kotaku and followed a link to this. I haven't really kept up with Indie/Freeware games but it looks like there's some neat stuff here.

Hellsinker looks Ikarugaish with its two colors and special attack.

Thanks for the heads up. Why is Sam and Max on the list though, it is not freeware by any means (as far as I know)?

I used to love Turrican back in the day, and Warning Forever is also nice, so glad to hear there's spiritual successors there. Echoes definitively deserves praise as well, although I don't know why they counted the unlockable as a perk as it's so hard to get it :P

Sam and Max is on the list because that episode, Episode 4: Abe Lincoln must Die, is avaliable from gametap for free. While not freeware in the traditional sense, it is free right now and isn't going to change soon. If you havn't checked it lately, you should download the gametap client. Logged in as a guest, they offer 71 games for free, with ads when you change games of course.
