I used an older one called Klik and Play.
There are other game design programs, more info at the link.

I made a game called Space Tanks, a free download at the same link.

Get Multimedia Fusion 2. It's made by the same team that made Klik & Play, but renders Klik & Play useless. The features it adds are indispensable. It requires no programming language knowledge at all, you'll love it.
CRTGAMER, if you've already used KnP, you're going to be in heaven with MMF2.

Stop using gamemaker immediately and get MMF2.

another vote for MMF2. it's incredibly versatile and the graphic engine is insanely fast compared to any other game creation suites. it might cost a bit, but it's really damn good.

I completely disagree with it "costing a bit". $120 is an absolute steal for the amount of value I've gotten out of clickteams products over the years. They recently released a flash runtime and they're working on an iphone runtime right now meaning you'll be able to port anything you make with it to iphone. If you want to sell anything you've made with it though you'll need the developer version which costs $300 or so, but if you've made something people want to buy you should earn that back without a problem.

yeah, i have the developer version, hence it costing a bit ;] - and also, you can still sell with the standard edition! you just need to include the MMF logo somewhere ingame or on the package / readme. with the dev version, you don't need to do that, and you have a few more goodies here and there.Jrecee wrote:renardqueenston wrote:I completely disagree with it "costing a bit". $120 is an absolute steal for the amount of value I've gotten out of clickteams products over the years.
