It doesn't seem possible, at least not on the 360. Google is useless as it typically is. Just keeps giving me results regarding importing Mass Effect 1 saves, which is NOT what I'm searching for
Really ridiculous in this day and age a game that doesn't let you copy saves. They did this with Viva Pinata too.
Any way to copy Mass Effect 2 saves?

If your save is on the HDD then it's going to be a bit tricky, but certainly doable. From now on I'm saving on flash drives in order to back up the saves using a certain unofficial tool.

Re: Any way to copy Mass Effect 2 saves?
I actually discovered a neat trick. I make a new profile on my memory card that is just like the one on my hard drive and made a save game for it. Now here's the cool thing I've noticed. When you go to load a save game you can switch profiles. When you do, the saves for that profile will pop up for you to see. If you exit out and switch over to the save option, those files will still show so you can save over one of them. So basically, I save my game on the hard drive, then go to load game and switch to the profile on the memory card, then exit out and go to save game to overwrite what's on the memory card, effectly backing up my hard drive save
I can't believe I had to try and "outsmart" the game just to do something as simple as copying save data. Stupid Bioware, is EA corrupting them? Can't even let players copy their damn save data now? Rare pulled this shit with the Viva Pinata games too and it was damn annoying. Who the hell comes up with such a stupid idea? They're the only two companies I know of who impose save game restrictions on their games. Oh wait, the idiots behind Mortal Kombat Dark Alliance did the same thing with that game too I think
Funny thing is, after people made god knows how many posts on the subject on Biowares forums, nobody ever came across this trick

Great find! I wonder whether it'll work on other games, don't want to invest in an MU reader.
