heh... the teradrive
yeah, it's just an old ass 286 IBM and a megadrive slammed into the same case. The PC itself is rather outdated for the time it was released let alone now... not very useful, accept that it's rather novel to be able to run both the genesis and PC at the same time as they shared each others hardware.
Also it give really good video out for the genny.

before the MarkIII and Sega Master System they had a handful of home computers and knock off consoles of other peoples technology.
Since then they've had quite a few including the mainstreams:
several versions of the Master System, several versions of the megadrive including the teradrive and the Pioneer LaserDisc add on... there is even a small boombox with a megadrive in it.
The Sega CD got SEVERAL different remakes, including the highly sought after CDX (the portable CD player gadget) and the X'eye.
The 32X only came in one flavor
there was also the Pico, a childrens console that sold very poorly. It even had it's own version of Ecco that is rather cute.
Saturn had probably the most different flavors, but they all basically did the same thing. Unlike the MegaDrive and SCD flavours which always tried to add some extra little gay feature to it.
Since the Saturn though Sega hasn't really made odd hardware bits... maybe some special editions of their consoles and the sort. But nothing way off the wall like a TV with a megadrive built in.
