I am on the final boss and he is hard as can be, but that makes this game fun. Now, I didn't get all 7 chaos emeralds I will do that the next play through. Getting this close to the end saddens me because of the short length of the game, but I am motivated to play again.
Anyways after playing this game more I agree with my first opinion (stated in the previous page of this post) and I like this game even more.

Bonus: My sons like watching 2d games better than any modern one (they prefer watching Super Mario World over Super Mario Galaxy) so I have gotten to play this game more than other games with the kids around. This alone makes the game worth the $15 to me.

Final boss's pattern is pretty easy to learn, dying because of the lockon is a pain in the ass though.

I finally figured it out by dashing under his steps, but it took me at least 4 or lives to figure out to hit him one more time for the win...
Now to play through and collect all of the Chaos Emeralds.

I'd say unless you have a 3rd party controller with a decent d-pad get the Wii version.

I tried the demo. The physics sucked. I am not getting this game. Seriously, when I just stopped half way through a loop for no reason at all I just turned the game off. Why the fuck do you slow down when you're in a ball going down a hill... Epic fail.

The game is utter garbage.

You have to hold right to keep from losing your momentum, even when rolling.

So yeah, the physics are different, but wouldn't you want to know how a game's mechanics work instead of just playing it for five seconds and declaring it garbage? That seems excessive to me.

It depends. Is it free? Sure I'll give it the benefit of the doubt (for 2 more minutes). Do I have to pay 13€ to unlock the full game and then declare that it's garbage? No thank you. I'm better off getting another game. Will try Costume Quest tonight.

I only have the demo but it just seems off? I dont know what it is, i love the homeing attack and the graphics are nice. But it seems wierd how the speed can go in an instant around loops and such. But overall it seems like i game i would buy on a disk with the other episodes.

Also is it just me or is sonic MASSIVE?
