Gamecube games at $5.00 each, complete with manuals and flyers!

Super Smash Brothers and Mario Party 5.

Figure any Mario is worth the five bucks. Got both at Bookoff.

Please post where you bought your deal from.
So others here know where to look for Finds of the Day.

I find most of mine at garage sales. This is a sampling of what I found over the summer (all games complete in box).
--Playstation 2, two controllers, Namco Museum - $20
--Grand Theft Auto: Vice City (PS2) - $2
--NES, two controllers, Tecmo Bowl, Tecmo Super Bowl, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - $25
--Dreamcast, two controllers, VMU, Namco Museum CIB, NBA 2K, NFL 2K, NFL 2K1, NHL 2K, SoulCalibur, Tennis 2K2, Rainbow Six: Rogue Spear, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, Toy Commander - $13 (yes, $13, that is not a typo)

I also got some games at a closing Movie Gallery (similar to Blockbuster). I got Star Wars: The Force Unleashed (PS2), Metal Gear Anthology (Wii), Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam (Wii), and Alien Syndrome (Wii) for $6.63 with tax. I can't remember if they're all with manuals (except The Force Unleashed) but they all have the box art with controls on the back.

Those are couple places to look. You can also find deals on Craigslist (sometimes), such as when I got the Game Gear I mentioned earlier.
Gaming accomplishments:
Nibbler (marathon): 251,169,160 / Nibbler (one life): 5,263,360 (WR)
Donkey Kong: 423,100 [L12-1] (150th place as of 2019-01-15)
Super Smash Bros. (N64): Ranked top 5 in Wisconsin from Q1 2016 to Q2 2017
Shrek SuperSlam: won largest tournament in game's history (Shrekfest 2018)

Post by raregamesplox »

so today i went to a old lady's garage sale and found....

Atari 2600 (good condition)
17 games (all good condition and 9 of them had original manuals also in great condition)
2 paddle controllers(only one plug in so i guess its considered 1)
1 joystick fighter pilot looking controller
owners manual for Atari(once again great condition)
4 Atari catalogs (great condition)

and a big awesome case type thing to carry it all in

i had 2 joystick controllers laying around at home to use too =p

only bad thing is it didn't have the needed adapter thing to hook up to my TV. planing on ordering off internet for like 3 bucks though.

i got all of it for a low low price of 10 bucks :D

I got a Sega Genesis at a garage sale for $5, came with one controller and a power cord but nothing to connect to the TV. Does anyone know if they made an analog or component cord for this? I have no interest in a RF switch. In fact if anyone has a cord they don't want anymore I'd gladly take if off your hands for cheap.

if its a model 2 the a/v cord is usually easier to find than the model 1. check ebay or ask for one on here, i'm sure someone has a spare.

Your choices are composite cable or getting a imported scart cable and lots of converters for US use unless you mod it.

Very nice. I finally picked up a copy while gathered for the meetup last month, but I paid a bit more than that. :P

How much did it set you back out of interest.

Picked up a loose copy of Shantae for the Gameboy Color today at the flea market. $25 isn't a bad price at all! The label has a little tear in it, but I'm not too concerned as I just want to play the game! :D
