Definitely Mario RPG first, I can still remember the music. Then earthbound or chrono trigger.

dang heck of a startup line there. I just recently started my snes collection... so far just 5 rpg games . Well no suggestion since i never beaten any of them. But i probably say go for chrono trigger i played it on the ds and it was not bad.

snes ff3 game cover art looks so sucky and the sword looks awkward to me. I found out about snes lie back when there somewhat good emulators. I click on ff3 and then went straight to ff6 and noticed the same intro, what a blow.

Chrono Trigger is arguably one of the greatest RPG's ever. Earthbound is cool and quirky, but Chrono Trigger is definitely one of the best. I'd save it for last if I were you.
