Shame about the games pricing because it has put many people off.

I thought it was going to be episodes, but for $15 it better not be or I probably wont get it since I only own a Wii and the prices never drop.

Edit: I just found out that this game will feature 4 zones: Splash Hill, Lost Labyrinth, Casino Street and Mad Gear.
I still don't know if that will be worth $15

Assuming the reviews aren't horrid - which they likely will be given the history of the franchise - I will probably wait for the inevitable disc-based collection of episodes.

But the 360 has achievements
I know..sweet sweet achievements..but awful awful d-pad. I can't do it!

This is only episode 1. :|

$15 per episode is gonna add up.

3 acts per zone (like Sonic 1), or 4 if you count the boss act. There's a "final zone" of sorts that's only accessible after you complete the initial 4 zones, though.

So if each act is approximately the same length as an act in Sonic 3&K, this episode will essentially be the same length as Sonic 3 (or S&K) by itself.

Honestly, the price point bums me out a bit.

I thought the same thing about the price, until you make the above point. For us who bought Sonic 3 or S&K at release - $15 isn't too bad of a price if you ignore the normal downfalls of digital releases (especially on the Wii.)

Yeah. This screams "download me", in a pirate way. If it somehow is good, not just good for a Sonic game these days but actually good and they release a disc-based complete-edition, count me in for that.
