emwearz wrote:While hardly a find still something I like having, picked up a few 25th Anniversary of Super Mario (Apparently Nintendo count Super Mario Bros. as the first Mario game) promotional booklets from the Nintendo HQ at EB Games, its just a little 6 page booklet with a Mario through the ages and other promo crap.

Free is the best price for such useless items.
Super Mario actually isn't Mario believe it or not.

Mario is arcade Mario Bros. and Donkey Kong version Mario AKA: Jumpman.

Super Mario consists of everything from Super Mario Bros. onward that features the Super in front of Mario somewhere in the title.

Basically it's been separated into two main continuities.

Were these made available at EBGames/Gamestop? Was it just at one location or nationwide?

Em's an Aussie so unfortunately it's a regional only promotion. US EB/GameStop don't actually own the Australian chains we simply license the name to them.

I found this a couple of weeks ago and felt like bragging. Sorry for so many pictures, however I figured I would go ahead and upload everything as I am probably going to put these up on eBay soon unless I get a more interesting offer (hint, hint).

I'd do just about anything for that Pocket. The Red, Black and clear Green Pocket are badass to the max.

(AKA: PM me with whatever you're wanting for it, even if I can't afford it I want to know what you'd let it go for.)

Also, where did you find those man? Was a wal-mart just pulling old stock cases out of it's back room to clear space or something? My buddy got a sealed copy of Link To the Past (Player's Choice) like that in '08.
