Also, Remote Play does work on other networks than the one the PS3 is currently connected to. I haven't ever gotten that part to work, but I know for a fact that it does.
I've managed to get it to work. I thought it would be cool to play PS3 on my PSP outside of my house. It's laggy as shit, the video quality takes a nosedive and, well you're playing it on a PSP - bye bye comfort. The novelty is very short lived and ultimately, it's just not worth it.

I think what he was getting at was there are few games that support it for a reason. IE there's not many games that are playable on the PSP due to control restraints, amongst other things.
Yes, my point was that even now we have proof how most games COULD support remote play, there is a reason they aren't shipped with that ability.

There are PS3 games I'd like to play on my PSP, and I have tried the ones that support it. It works okay, but the video quality is what makes me come downstairs and play it on the TV. Everything is just a little too "fuzzy" for the most part for me.

I have played PSone classics over remote play and, for that, the PSP works great. Video quality isn't a big issue and since the games were RPGs, lag wasn't an issue.

Point taken. It would be great if this works with PSN games. All I'm saying is that I want to play Scott Pilgrim on my PSP. :)

Well, because no one seems to like the idea of PS3 games on the PSP, how about the other way around?

Yes, that is something I can definitely get behind and if this comes to fruition for 3D gaming it will be one of the best things about the hack. I simply refuse to play Peace Walker on the PSP. I want to play it on a real console with a comfortable controller and not have to deal with the neck ache that I get from playing the PSP.

Reading this guy's twitter feed, it seems pretty apparent that he doesn't have a clue what he's doing. He's asking pretty elementary questions to people, I feel like this is just an attention grab. I'd love to be proven wrong, but I don't think this is going anywhere for now

Eugh. I hate that. Seemed to happen all the fuckin' time in the early days of the PSP. Wish they wouldn't even bother if they didn't have the skills to see it through.

In the last 48 hours we have seen a POC USB firmware loader (ie to load firmware from a USB drive rather than onboard nand similar to that seen in the sneek project on Wii). A dreamcast emulator (just the bios for now but it's the first important step), SNES9x ported and the ability to boot PSP Isos on the PS3. Looks like the scene is well on the way and would appear to be developing at a quicker rate than what it did with the PSP very promising indeed!

It seems that the PSP ISO loader was most likely fake, though. But I hope it is real; that would be awesome.

I just purchased something from canadamods.ca

How would I know how its supposed to be delivered in the U.S. Sure I gave my address, but is it made mailed by USPS, fedex, dhl, or UPS?
Has anyone ever purchased anything from them?
What does order number mean?

example order number
xxxxxx-xxxxxx-1234

Yeah upon actually viewing the video it's pretty clear that it's complete bullshit. He clearly edited a PS3 iso, changed the SFO values so that it would appear to be chinatown wars and changed the pngs and intro audio. Just like you can do on PSX/PSP images on PSP. Then changed the into bik video to a recording of chinatown wars.

That's if he even wanted to fake it properly. He probably just changed the inputs on the TV to the PSP sat right in front of the TV...
