Yes, my point was that even now we have proof how most games COULD support remote play, there is a reason they aren't shipped with that ability.Niode wrote:I've managed to get it to work. I thought it would be cool to play PS3 on my PSP outside of my house. It's laggy as shit, the video quality takes a nosedive and, well you're playing it on a PSP - bye bye comfort. The novelty is very short lived and ultimately, it's just not worth it.lisalover1 wrote: Well, as I said in the previous post, that problem just got solved. You can't possibly say that there aren't any PS3 games you wouldn't like to play on your PSP. Also, Remote Play does work on other networks than the one the PS3 is currently connected to. I haven't ever gotten that part to work, but I know for a fact that it does.
I think what he was getting at was there are few games that support it for a reason. IE there's not many games that are playable on the PSP due to control restraints, amongst other things.
There are PS3 games I'd like to play on my PSP, and I have tried the ones that support it. It works okay, but the video quality is what makes me come downstairs and play it on the TV. Everything is just a little too "fuzzy" for the most part for me.
I have played PSone classics over remote play and, for that, the PSP works great. Video quality isn't a big issue and since the games were RPGs, lag wasn't an issue.
